Cotesbach Hall in the village of Cotesbach just south of Lutterworth is a hidden gem in every sense of the word. It's ancient brickwork nestles quietly in the middle of the village, but in recent years the family that have looked after it for generations have been opening it up more and more. One of the most recent developments is the family archive which sheds light on the world of a Leicestershire community over the last two or three hundred years, it's been catalogued and they're now publishing parts of it for us all to see, the bit to see the light of day is a series of early 19th century recipes...
