PG tips to 'shrink' teabags: What does the consumer think?
We are known as a nation of tea drinkers but in future you'll be getting a little less in a pyramid bag of PG tips.
The tea company is shrinking its bags by about 7 per cent, reducing the weight of tea by 0.2 grammes, but the company is keen to point out the price and quality will remain the same.
Jacques De Cock a director from the London School of Marketing explains to Wake up to Money why the customer is more likely to compare price rather than value of products.
