Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala has described signing a contract with WSL side Liverpool Ladies as a 鈥渄ream come true.鈥� The twenty year old, who is the first African footballer to play in the FA Women鈥檚 Super League, is set to make her debut on Wednesday.

It marks the latest chapter in her incredible success story, which has already seen Asisat crowned African Women鈥檚 Player of the Year and win the golden boot and player of the tournament at the Under-20 World Cup last year. She also helped her national team to win the African Women鈥檚 Championship and qualify for the Women鈥檚 World Cup in Canada.

Asisat told the 蜜芽传媒's Caroline Rigby that she is looking forward to playing 鈥渁 new style of football鈥� with the team that she followed back home in Nigeria.
