Netball: Not for All?
Netball is most unusual in sport. It is one of very few sports where men and women directly compete against each other. The Australian men’s national team regularly plays the women’s national team, and in the Southern Hemisphere men’s and mixed netball continues to grow.
So why did Molly Rhone, head of netball’s world governing body, say “The International Federation does not promote Netball as a men’s game, and I make no apologies for it.”
