WW1 Tyne Cott
You might remember that a couple of weeks ago Ben Jackson was in Belgium as we continue to commemorate a hundred years since the First World War. Ben was there to mark the anniversary of the battle of Frezenburg Ridge during which a small group of men that made up the Leicestershire Yeomanry held that line that prevented the German army from taking the town of Ypres. Whilst he was there he also stopped off at some of the places that still have the ability to shock, like the largest First World War cemetary in the world, Tyne Cott. Richard Lane the Tigers Regiment historian guided Ben around.
