Gary Player: 'I do 1,300 sit-ups a day'
Three-time Open winner Gary Player has denied rumours he does 1,000 sit-ups a day - saying he actually does 1,300.
The 79-year-old said the secret to his fitness was healthy eating.
He said people in Britain tend not to eat well, urging against the temptations of the bacon butty as diabetes was becoming "an epidemic".
Player has played in 46 Open Championships, more than any other golfer.
