Keiko Abe: Prism Rhapsody
Live from Cadogan Hall in London, percussionist Evelyn Glennie and pianist Philip Smith perform Keiko Abe's Prism Rhapsody.
This is one of Keiko Abe’s first works for marimba and orchestra.
Abe is a world-class marimbist who combines virtuosic technique with power and sensitivity of playing. She began playing when in primary school and many of her compositions have become standards of marimba repertoire globally.
