                'You Stink' Beirut sit-in
Protesters in Lebanon have occupied part of the environment ministry in Beirut. Dozens are staging a sit-in protest, demanding the resignation of the minister. The demonstrators are part of the 'You Stink' campaign, which was triggered by anger over rubbish left to rot in the streets of Beirut. It has now grown into a wider attack on the perceived corruption and incompetence of politicians. Sami Halabi is an activist and public policy consultant.
