Watermead Park Update
Supporters of a campaign to raise money to repair damage caused by vandals to a Leicestershire Park earlier this year have told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester they've raised enough money to also open a brand new area at the beauty spot too. Thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused at Watermead Park near Birstall when vandals smashed fences, benches and plaques on memorial tress. Since then, the local community and business owners have raised around £4500. Dale Osborne is one of the Park Rangers and he spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester's Ben Jackson about how some of the money has been spent.
