Reports have suggested that England centre Sam Burgess is on the verge of quitting rugby union and has been given time off by Bath to consider a return to rugby league.

Sources in Australia suggest he is set to go back to former NRL club the South Sydney Rabbitohs less than a year after switching codes.

But speaking on the Today programme, Bath coach Mike Ford said there were 鈥渘o dramas鈥� over Burgess, that he expected him to return to training in November, and that he was 100% sure Burgess would return to Bath.

鈥淭his is the time now when Sam becomes a better rugby union player,鈥� he told sports presenter Garry Richardson.
