George Shearing recorded four sides in November before he went to America. His American recordings established that Shearing sound which became very much his trade mark
We hear another track from a new Derek Nash album and the same from a new Bryan Corbett CD. There's also a wide range of jazz from trumpeter band leader Freddy Randall right through to trombonists Mark Nightingale and Alistair White. We hear a track from Don Rendell who died at the end of October and there's the duo of Tommy Smith and Brian Kellock.
