Remembering Allen Toussaint and looking forward to a couple of Midlands events, one with the music of Kenny Baker complete with some anecdotes about his life.
A couple of tracks from New Orleans composer, pianist and singer Allen Toussaint who died last week. We hear about a Kenny Baker show which will include lots of music associated with him plus some stories about his life in jazz. Also there's track from the 're-formed' Dozen which came together again in 1993 just for one session. As usual there are some tracks from new albums by well known and newer jazz artists.
