Children In Need - The Bethany Project
Children In Need is all about the children. But sometimes it's about families too.
And in Leicester - vulnerable women with children or who are pregnant and face homelessness are offered a new start at life at The Bethany Project.
The project offers them a roof over their head. It teaches them and holds their hand through childbirth and the values of good parenting. The scheme which is owned and managed by Adullam ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½s Housing Association and provides accommodation for up to 12 young and vulnerable families at any time.
A year ago Jonathan Lampon went to The Bethany Project - 12 months on he's returned.
The money they were given by Children in Need went to pay for a families intervention office called Jules. Jonathan went back to meet her and one of the Mums who owes her safety and welfare to the project.
