Martin Keown: 鈥榊ou couldn鈥檛 ask for a better coach鈥�
Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown paid tribute to Don Howe, who has died aged 80, saying 鈥淚f you were a defender at a football club, you couldn鈥檛 ask for a better coach.鈥�
Howe became one of the most well-respected coaches in the history of the English game. The full-back played for West Brom and Arsenal, earning 23 England caps, before establishing himself as a renowned coach for club and country.
鈥淗e made us feel special. He was a great defensive tactical coach,鈥� said Keown.
