Stanford on prison attack - 'I broke thirty two bones'
Disgraced fraudster Allen Stanford recounts the time he was attacked in a maximum security prison.
The Texan, who is serving a 110-year sentence for carrying out the second largest investment scam in US history, cracked his skull, and suffered 32 fractures in his head and face.
The 65-year-old required an eight-hour operation and a month to recover, but says he only saw a doctor once and wasn't given any antibiotics or painkillers.
In his first interview since 2009, Stanford told the ѿý's sports editor Dan Roan his treatment was “barbaric”.
