Green Party leader Natalie Bennett and UKIP MEP David Coburn discussed calls to ban Donald Trump from the UK ahead of a Westminster debate on the subject.
Ms Bennett said about 200 people had been banned because their presence would not be conducive to the public good, and it was 鈥渞easonable鈥� for Mr Trump to be added to the list. If he were ever to become president he would have to 鈥渞ow back鈥� on the comments, she said.
Mr Coburn said Mr Trump鈥檚 comments were 鈥渞idiculous鈥� but said he should be 鈥渄efeated in the public arena鈥�. He said the prospect of him winning the US election was 鈥渢errifying鈥� but added that 鈥渉e may become president so we can鈥檛 just ignore him鈥�.
