Andrew Hawkins, of polling company ComRes, and Labour MP Ben Bradshaw joined Jo Coburn on The Daily Politics to discuss a review by Prof Patrick Sturgis into the failure of pre-general election polls.
Mr Hawkins said there were 鈥渃learly sampling issues鈥� that affected the accuracy of the polls and said the
report鈥檚 findings would affect some companies more than others.
Mr Bradshaw said the polls 鈥渕assively affected鈥� Labour鈥檚 campaign strategy.
He said Labour had tried to 鈥済et the debate back to policy鈥� but the campaign was 鈥渄ominated鈥� by speculation about a hung Parliament.
