Sutton: Aston Villa 'must' appoint Nigel Pearson
Former England striker Chris Sutton says Aston Villa 鈥榤ust鈥� appoint ex-Leicester boss Nigel Pearson as their new manager.
Bottom of the Premier League Villa are looking for a new manager following the departure of Remi Garde.
鈥淰illa must appoint Nigel Pearson as manager. They should have done it as soon as Remi Garde left - he knows the Championship inside out,鈥� Sutton said.
"I don't think Villa will free-fall through the divisions, but they need someone to steady the ship. There is talent in this Villa squad and I think they can bounce straight back up to the Premier League," he added.
