New inquiry into sexual harassment in schools
Announcing a new inquiry into sexual harassment and violence at UK schools, the Chair of the Women and Equalities Committee said that social media and the internet were complicating life for young people growing up.
Maria Miller said the Committee would be looking at how schools can be helped to tackle sexual harassment "to give children and young people a safer place to learn".
She said she expected there to be calls for reform of sex education at England's schools, but that better support for teachers was also important.
