Recreating instruments from the Dark Ages
The European Music Archaeology Project (EMAP) was set up to recreate the music of the ancient world. The 4.6 million dollar project brings together teams of music archaeologists and musicians. A touring exhibition is planned and a series of albums connected to the project will be released. Cajsa S. Lund is the head researcher for EMAP and Barnaby Brown is a piper working on the project. Barnaby began by telling Dan Damon about it.
