The European Music Archaeology Project (EMAP) was set up to recreate the music of the ancient world. The 4.6 million dollar project brings together teams of music archaeologists and musicians. A touring exhibition is planned and a series of albums connected to the project will be released. Cajsa S. Lund is the head researcher for EMAP and Barnaby Brown is a piper working on the project. Barnaby began by telling Dan Damon about it. (IMAGE: Partial image of a rock carving on a stone slab in the Kivik tomb, Sweden, Bronze Age, Ca. 1400 BC CREDIT: Cajsa S. Lund / EMAP)
