Pele's life in football is up for auction
The man in charge of auctioning off Pele’s memorabilia, Martin Nolan of Julien's Auctions, has told 5 live “there is huge interest from people all over the world to own something from his life and career.â€
Two thousand items are up for grabs, including elaborate crowns and ceremonial daggers, model ships and jet fighters, clocks, dishes, and freedom-of-the-city keys from various places.
The auction has already raised more than three million pounds with part of the proceeds being donated to the largest paediatric hospital in Brazil.
