Iceland Euro 2016 run is a 'fairytale' says president elect

Iceland’s president elect Gudni Johannesson says their run to the Euro 2016 has been a ‘fairytale.’

Having qualified for their first ever major tournament, Iceland have reached the quarter-finals and knocked out England in the last 16.

“This is a fairytale,” said Johannesson, who was elected last month and will officially take office in August.

“We feel the whole world is behind us,” he added.
