At least eight million tonnes of plastic is thrown away every minute of every day - and a huge amount of it ends up in the vast ocean currents of the Pacific. Indonesia is the second biggest plastics polluter in the world - and the resulting clogged waterways are threatening both fishing and tourism industries. The 蜜芽传媒's Rebecca Henchke reports.

If you thought slavery was a thing of the past, think again. Today, millions of men, women and children are still enslaved around the world. A report out this week from Verisk Maplecroft says that slavery is rife in 58% of countries - with China and India performing particularly badly. We hear from Alex Channer an author of the report.
