What it's like to give birth in Aleppo
The "horrible" conditions for women giving birth in the Syrian city of Aleppo has been described by one of the doctors working in a maternity hospital.
Dr Farida Almouslem is among the Syrian doctors in the rebel-held east of Aleppo who have written to President Obama urging him to intervene, in the face of attacks by government forces.
She told the World at One's Martha Kearney mothers were afraid because the hospital was regularly targeted.
