The Australian Aboriginal mum who whitened her kid's face for fancy dress says it is fine for kids to 'white-up' or 'black-up'.

Breeze Bee is a mum of four kids who works in education.

Last week, a young boy caused a social media storm after he dressed up for a school event as his hero, Aussie rules player Nic Naitanui. The young boy is white, Nic Naitanui is of Fijian heritage.

In response Breeze shared photos of her daughter with her face painted white for a school costume. She explained her decision.
