Theresa May stopped 'precipitous pivot towards China'
Conservative MP Bernard Jenkin says Chinese investment in Hinkley Point nuclear power plant would be the "thin end of the wedge". He told Radio 4's Westminster Hour it could lead to the superstate then building a prototype plant to its own design in Essex. Meanwhile the SNP's John Nicolson said Theresa May had made a "very abrupt handbrake turn" on Chinese investment but said a lot of people will think there's a "degree of wisdom" in that decision.
