Wall of Calais: 'Waste of taxpayers money'
Work will soon begin on a wall in Calais to stop migrants getting into the Channel Tunnel.
Dubbed the "Great Wall of Calais" by some media, the 4m (13ft) wall will run for 1km (0.6 miles) along both sides of the main road to Calais port.
Rod McKenzie, from the Road Haulage Association, told the World at One that instead of stopping migrants from boarding trucks, it would just "move the problem further down the road".
