Brennan neglect was 'utterly shameful'
A coroner has found that neglect contributed to the death of 15-year-old Chris Brennan in a south London hospital.
The charity Inquest, which supported the Brennan family during the proceedings, says an "urgent independent review" of children's mental healthcare is needed.
Inquest director Deborah Coles told presenter Martha Kearney that his death, six weeks after he had been admitted to Bethlem Royal Hospital for self-harming, was "utterly shameful".
