Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell has urged Labour to reunite, calling for a wider discussion about abuse in politics, following Jeremy Corbyn's re-election as Labour leader.

Asked if he had been rude to Labour Party members, Mr McDonnell replied: "I admit that. You get dragged into this knockabout politics which actually isn't constructive."
