NUS president accused of anti-Semitism
Leading figures in student politics are accusing the NUS president of anti-Semitic rhetoric.
In a letter signed by three vice-presidents of the union and 41 other student leaders, they say "Jewish students have not felt safe participating in our national movement, because of the actions and rhetoric of leadership of the NUS".
Malia Bouattia denies the accusations and says she will do everything in her power to ensure Jewish students are safe.
One of the vice-presidents who signed the letter, Richard Brooks told The World At One's Martha Kearney why they felt it necessary.
