Chile Votes Against Pinochet
In October 1988 Chile held an unprecedented referendum on whether the country's ruler, General Augusto Pinochet, should remain in power. A majority of voters rejected the dictator, ending 15 years of brutal military rule. Eugenio Garcia was the creative director of the campaign to oust the dictator.
