Donald Trump's assertion that the "media is dishonest" and his reluctance to confirm that he will accept the result of the presidential election next month has drawn widespread criticism.

The renowned American economist Irwin Stelzer described the performance of Donald Trump during the debate in Las Vegas "as if he's got a loaded gun pointed at his foot."
