How Bake Off is 'jam packed' with innuendo
From the Bard to the Carry On films, the British have always loved a bit of smut and The Great British Bake Off has continued that proud tradition.
Ahead of the programme's final outing on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½, author Jeanette Winterson tells Radio 4's The World at One how Bake Off has played upon the long standing connection between "slightly smutty school yard jokes about sex, bodies and food".
