'Bunk-bed' graves unearthed at historic abbey
The graves of monks at Fountains Abbey in North Yorkshire have been discovered to be laid out "bunk-bed" style, with bodies stacked once above the other.
National Trust archaeologist Mark Newman explains how the discovery, made by radar technology, suggests the monks believed in the literal resurrection of the bodies.
They believed that if a leg was "chopped off by a later burial, then you would have to hop your way through eternity".
