Philippe Sands wins top prize for non-fiction
Human rights lawyer Philippe Sands has won the 2016 Baillie Gifford prize for non-fiction, for his history of crimes against humanity book, East West Street.
Martha Kearney spoke to the author in October when he was shortlisted for the prize, and he explained how the real life legal thriller had come about.
