Late Piers Sellers after cancer diagnosis: 'There鈥檚 no time for moping'
The British-born astronaut Piers Sellers has died at the age of 61 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Earlier this year he spoke to 5live鈥檚 Adrian Chiles about life in space, and his diagnosis.
鈥淚鈥檝e had the luck to do so many good things, two of the best things are my kids. I鈥檝e absolutely no complaints, I鈥檒l try and get the absolute maximum out of the life that鈥檚 left in me 鈥 there鈥檚 no time for moping.鈥
Dr Sellers spent 600 hours in space, including four spacewalks.
