Ex-Turkish MP: More support needed from Europe
So-called Islamic State says it was behind the new year attack on an Istanbul nightclub in which 39 people died.
Egemen Bagis is a former MP for Istanbul and former minister of European Affairs for the AKP Party. He told the World at One that whilst grateful for the offers of help, compared to similar attacks in Paris, or Brussels, his country "did not get the support that was shown to those other western capitals".
