NHS Providers: Trusts are struggling to cope
The chief executive of NHS Providers, the association for those providing emergency care in England, has warned that the current strain on accident and emergency departments "patently" is not sustainable long term.
Record numbers of patients are facing long "trolley waits" for a bed after being admitted into hospital as an emergency in England, according to documents leaked to the the World at One.
