Trump at Balmoral would be 'splendid'
Jacob Rees-Mogg: disinviting the US President would be "extremely foolish".
The Conservative MP for North East Somerset dismissed claims there would be tensions between President Trump and the Prince of Wales - who campaigns against climate change - during his scheduled visit to the UK.
Mr Rees-Mogg said: "The Prince of Wales routinely meets heads of state when they come on state visits. The ordinary operation of the British state cannot be dictated by a foreign leader. On the other hand, if he wants to play golf in Balmoral I think that is absolutely splendid and I hope he enjoys doing so.”
