The next beauty craze
If you have never used a Korean face cream made from snail slime, then you may be missing out.
The craze has led to a boom in snail farming in Italy with producers claiming that in the last 10 months alone, they have seen a 46% increase in snail slime, due to demand from the cosmetics industry.
Alexia Inge, the co-founder of Cult Beauty, an online beauty retailer, told Martha Kearney how the mucus was collected and what the benefits were.
