Companies urged to hire more older workers

As we live longer we're able, and in many cases want, to work for longer. But older people often feel under-valued, and even ignored by companies, despite the experience and skills they can bring. The British government is now urging businesses to increase the proportion of their workforce aged in their 50's and 60's. Andy Briggs is the chief executive of the insurance company Aviva Life and is the UK government's Business Champion for Older Workers. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Rob Young asked him whether companies are illegally discriminating against older workers.
