UKIP leader should 'come to Liverpool and apologise'
A local UKIP branch leader who has resigned in protest over the party's "insensitivity" to the Hillsborough disaster says leader Paul Nuttall should visit Liverpool and "say sorry" in person.
Speaking to Radio 4's The World at One, Adam Heatherington, who was chairman of UKIP's Merseyside branch also said it was donor Arron Banks' comments that had particularly offended.
Mr Nuttall said last week he was "sorry" over false claims that he had lost close friends in the 1989 tragedy, but Mr Heatherington said further action is needed.
