In March 1997 Catholic nun and missionary Mother Teresa retired from her work with the poor in Kolkata. The Missionaries of Charity helped the dying and destitute. Mari Marcel Thekaekara volunteered with the group as a young girl.
She spoke to Witness about that experience and her own faith.
