The 'Robot Lawyer’ giving free legal advice to refugees
A Facebook chatbot - a computer programme which conducts a conversation with the user - is helping refugees claim asylum. The "robot lawyer" is called DoNotPay and it gives legal aid to people seeking refugee status in the United States and Canada, and those who claim asylum support in the United Kingdom. DoNotPay's creator is London-born Joshua Browder who is now living in California. Dan Damon has been speaking with him.
