Sarah Vine defends Daily Mail 'Legs-it' column
The Daily Mail carried a headline today: "Never mind Brexit, who won Legs-it?" with a column by Sarah Vine giving her verdict on the meeting between Prime Minister Theresa May and First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
Politicians and members of the public have taken to Twitter to express their outrage, accusing the paper of sexism.
Speaking to Radio 4's World at One, Sarah Vine said she thought people might have had "a sense of humour failure".
Sarah Vine said she was creating a "more approachable version" of the story by commenting on the photo.
