Douglas Carswell, the MP for Clacton, says that Europe does not see Theresa May's Article 50 letter as a threat. Appearing on the Westminster Hour, Mr Carswell said that he had spoken to ambassadors of other countries who said they did not interpret the Prime Minister's letter as a threat, contrary to what he called "the day to day analysis from people selling newspapers".
