The new craze sweeping school playgrounds
‘Fidget spinners’ are the latest craze to sweep through school playgrounds, with 50,000 being sold every week. The popular toy consists of a ball bearing which sits in a three-pronged plastic device which can then be flicked and spun round.
Gary Grant, managing Director and Founder of The Entertainer toy retailer, told 5 live:
“Right now we just cannot keep them in stock. Most toys that come from the Far-East are shipped in by boat but due to demand we’re flying them in.â€
“It’s been absolutely phenomenal.â€
