Two in three people fail job interviews over nerves
Applying for a new job is so stressful that 65% of people say that nerves get the better of them in interviews, which leads to them failing to get the job.
According to a survey by the recruitment firm Total Jobs, one in ten interviewees admitted they fear questions like "why should I hire you?" or "what is you biggest weakness?"
It could mean companies are missing out on hiring good staff simply because candidates are nervous during the interview.
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Russell Padmore found out how to be calm at interviews from Dr Linda Papadopoulos, a psychologist who provides expert advice to job seekers.
