Social care: 'Not a U-turn, it is a clarification'
The Conservatives' Sarah Wollaston has denied Theresa May's change to social care funding is a "shambles", describing it as an "essential" clarification.
Funding will now include an "absolute limit" on the money people will have to pay, despite the Tories ruling out a cap on total costs in last week's manifesto.
"I wouldn't say it was a U-turn, I would say it's a clarification," Dr Wollaston said.
